Q. Can any design be screen printed?

A. Some designs are better suited for screen printing, while others are best reproduced with dye sublimation, full color transfers, or custom cut vinyl. Feel free to email us a design or idea or call us with any questions, and we’ll help you determine the best option for your needs.

Q. What factors affect the cost of screen printed garments?

A. The three main factors that influence the cost per item are order size, number of print colors, and the number of separate prints per garment.

Q. Can I order a single shirt?

A. Absolutely! Due to the time and cost of the setup, we recommend single color prints only for screen printing. Depending on the design, we may be able to custom cut and press vinyl. Full color transfers and dye sublimation are also great options for single and small runs of light colored garments.

Q. Can we mix and match garment colors and styles in a single order?

A. As long as the order entire order uses the same print, a variety of garment styles and colors can be included. If we need to print on two types of fabric that require a specialty ink or additive, there will be a small fee to change clean and change the ink. If the size of the print needs to be changed to accommodate different items, a separate job will need to be set up.

Q. Can I supply my own garments?

A. We do print on customer supplied items. However, some material may be treated with various chemicals or be of a fabric that won’t allow application of the ink. When printing on unfamiliar garments, there is usually no way to know this until we go to press. We are extremely careful and very rarely misprint a garment, but there is always a small chance of error, and we cannot be responsible for a damaged item.

Q. What is the turnaround time?

A. The average turnaround time is less than two weeks once the artwork is approved. We are often able to put a priority on rush jobs and have them completed in as little as 24 hours, depending on the complexity and size of the order and our current workload. We always do our best to help out whenever we’re able! When ordering specialty items that must be shipped, there may be some additional wait time for the items to arrive at the shop.

Q. Is a proof of the design provided before printing?

A. We never go to press without first getting final approval on the design. We always send a mockup of the artwork, and from there we are happy to make any changes until you’re happy with the final result.
